Delivery and Returns
+ How long before I get it?
Normally we aim to manufacture and despatch within two days of an order being placed. We use the quickest untracked postal service available to us - UK delivery tends to be the next day (from when it was dispatched), whereas delivery times abroad can depend on where in the world we are shipping to. You'll be updated via email when your order is dispatched, but if you have any concerns about how long the order is taking, just get in touch and we'll be happy to help.
+ Do you ship internationally?
Yes we do - our decals are popular across Europe, the US and as far away as Australia! All rates are calculated and displayed during checkout.
+ What is your returns policy?
All of our orders are produced by hand (cut with a plotter, but weeded and prepared by hand) right here in London, and we quality-check every single detail. However if for any reason you are unhappy with the product, do get in touch using the contact form or via sales@londondecal.com and we'll arrange a return and a full refund if necessary. This is on the condition that the item is not damaged and there has not been an attempt to apply it already - don't forget full application instruction are posted with Macbook, iPad and wall decals and a copy can also be found here, if you need some guidance.
FAQ's
+ Are your decals easy to apply?
Very easy! We send simple, step-by-step instructions with each order, which can also be found in the tab above. We've found YouTube is also a great source of videos on how to apply vinyl.
+ Are your Macbook/iPad decals removable?
Yes. We use the highest quality vinyl available, to ensure application and removal is very easy. Once you are finished with your MacBook or iPad decal you'll find it simple to peel off. Using your finger nail or tweezers gently peel up the edges of your decal. You may find a little dirt left over along the edges of the design, but simply wipe clean with a damp-lint free cloth. Now you're ready to add a new decal!
+ What surfaces can I stick my decal to?
The vinyl we use sticks to almost any smooth or lightly textured surface like painted walls, glass, mirrors, and smooth metal and wood. It will not stick to rough or uneven surfaces like bare cinder block, brick or fabric. Our products have been tested on general flat, semi-gloss and gloss paint with success. The surface MUST be clean, or the dirt/grease will cause the decal to peel from the surface.
+ Are your wall decals removable?
Yes, and it's easy to do. Our vinyl wall decals work well for both renters and homeowners because they come off without damaging your wall, or other non-porous surface. To remove, get a good grip on the corner of each letter or shape using an application/removal tool or tweezers and gently pull off the decal. If you've had it on the wall for a long period of time, applying heat first (with a hair dryer for example) can help make the decal easier to peel off.
+ How long will my decal last?
We use a high quality premium vinyl with an outdoor lifespan of 7 years, so there will be no durability issues. Objects like Macbooks and iPads are naturally subject to a fair amount of wear and tear, so the more your decal rubs and scrapes against other surfaces, the shorter the lifespan of the decal. Bottom line... if its look after, it will last!
+ Do you do custom decals?
Yes, we deal with all sorts of custom requests - you can either ask us to design something for you based on an idea or image, or you may send us your own artwork or logos. Either use the contact form below, or send an email to sales@londondecal.com, for more information. Each request will be costed individually depending on the size of the job, and all designs will be sent to you for final approval before we manufacture anything. We accept all filetypes (PDF, EPS, JPEG, AI, TIFF, etc) however be advised that image files will need to be converted to vector format in order to be manufactured.
